Marina Comparato made her debut in 1996 as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia in London as well as in R. Strauss' Elektra at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, starting a career that brought her to prestigious theatres and festival such as: La Scala in Milan, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Turin, La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, San Carlo in Naples, Opéra National de Paris, Opera de Montpellier, Théâtre du Chatelet, La Monnaie in Brussels, Opera Royal de Wallonie in Liège, Vlaamse Opera in Antwerp , Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam, Frankfurt Opera, Teatro Real in Madrid, Glyndebourne Festival and Salzburg Festival. Mrs. Comparato collaborated with conductors such as: Claudio Abbado, Roberto Abbado, Riccardo Chailly, James Conlon, Ottavio Dantone, John Eliot Gardiner, Daniele Gatti, Reneé Jacobs, Zubin Mehta, Mark Minkowski, Kent Nagano, Daniel Oren, Trevor Pinnock, Carlo Rizzi, Christophe Rousset, Jeffrey Tate.

Winner of the International Competition "Lejla Gencer" in Istanbul, she rapidly established herself as a regular guest in important theatres and festival such as: Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Teatro Regio in Turin, Opéra de Monte Carlo, Opéra de Paris, Covent Garden in London, Real in Madrid, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Wiener Staatsoper, Welsh National Opera in Cardiff, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Canadian Opera Company, and opera theatres in Leipzig, Dresden, Bilbao, Lisbon. Enkelejda Shkosa has collaborated with such conductors as Maurizio Benini, Bruno Campanella, Riccardo Chailly, Myung-Whun Chung, James Conlon, Colin Davis, Daniele Gatti, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Daniel Oren, Antonio Pappano, Evelino Pidò, Donato Renzetti, Marcello Viotti, only to name a few.

Plans: Verdi’s Requiem at the Teatro Nacional de Sao Carlos; Azucena in Il Trovatore at the Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata and at the Teatro Regio in Parma; Preziosilla in La Forza del Destino in Tel Aviv; Madama Butterfly at the Teatro Real de Madrid.

An eclectic artist with bold acting qualities, she can boast a huge repertoire that spans from Bel Canto to Verdi and Puccini’s masterpieces. Mrs. Vestri regularly collaborates with theaters as: Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Turin, Maggio Musicale in Florence, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, San Carlo in Naples, Opéra de Montecarlo, Teatro Regio in Parma, Wexford Festival Opera, Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto.

Plans: La Cenerentola at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo; Suor Angelica at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Opéra the Monte Carlo, at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, at the Opéra in Marseille and at the Grand Theatre de la Ville in Louxembourg. As returning guest at the Opéra in Marseille, Ms. Vestri will sing Maddalena in Rigoletto.

Plans: title role in Simon Boccanegra in Rovigo and Madama Butterfly (Sharpless) at the Terme di Caracalla in Rome.
